Which console will win 2011? (PSP2)

2011 is only five weeks old as of this writing, but already it seems we have a pretty good control over how next year will form for video games. Enough, at least do a lot of wild, predictions only founded that four platforms of major gambling games (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and PC) claim victory in the next 12 months. Not in terms of sales, of course, but in terms of what you have to offer players.

For the sake of maximum equity, four senior editors of GamesRadar - each with vested interest in a different platform - gathered to discuss what Console (and Yes, we know PCs aren't "consoles") represents the best chance of victory and then took a winner based on one the strongest arguments. They could be wrong: there is still much we don't know just over the horizon, revealed in events such as E3-, but here it is based on what we know now, is our best estimate how things are going down:
The numbers are impressive: 1.3 million units sold in 10 days. 2.5 million units sold in 25 days. And the most recent announcement from Microsoft: 8 million Kinects snapped by consumers in first 60 days of product release, exceeding the predictions of the Corporation and the doubling of numbers of the movement of the PlayStation for a similar period of time.

Much more impressive, however, is that the technology of motion control achieved success with what was widely mocked as a lineup of weak release and kid-pimping. Just think - less than 8 million people were willing to sacrifice $150 to play Kinectimals. Imagine the kind of money thrown at Microsoft real game? Or the additional number of systems will fly shops, which were already reporting shortages during the holidays?

We will find in 2011 with titles as children of Eden (Rez creator), codenamed D (of No more heroes creator), project Draco (the creator of Panzer Dragoon), Haunt (the creator of Parappa the Rapper) and the Gunstringer (creators of ' Splosion man and Comic bridge). There are horror of Sega with increase of nightmares, mech combat steel battalion series with serious and heavy armor of simulation runs Kinect Forza 4 functions. None of these can even be necessary and if Michael Jackson and Star Wars games are not good. Hell, those two are designed for blockbuster status even if they are not good.
To summarize? Kinect shows have any stay any form of energy in 2011, Microsoft could win with this advantage alone.

Last year, argued that Microsoft could override just the power of Halo: reach. The exclusive ended up selling more than 3 million copies in its first month, which only the third game to make it in this generation. (Others)? (Halo 3, exclusive to Xbox and Modern Warfare 2.)
This year, Microsoft can rely on Gears of war 3, the following entry in a franchise that has already passed more than 11 million units worldwide. Of course, the exploits of Marcus Fenix have not proven to be quite popular or profitable as the Master Chief, but they are damn close, and after a year of three expect from the sequel, including a painful delay, anticipation for a game of Gears of War has never been greater.

Don ' t care for chainsaws and lobsters? Forza 4 is a great thing, especially now that Gran Turismo 5 has been disappointed so many racing fans, and there is a small chance of Project Gotham Racing 5 could be unveiled as well. The re-imagined Series classic XCOM, of the people responsible for BioShock 2, will not appear on any other console. Nor do the secret world, an MMO for the man who made what some consider the latest adventure of gaming, the longest journey. Finally, there is Codename kingdoms, the Gladiator of the mysterious project (maybe) developer Crysis Crytek. We know almost nothing about, but to hear the claim of Crytek CEO to Codename kingdoms will boost Xbox 360 "to its limits" has me optimistic, at least.

Yes, I have resorted to this. To be honest, I cannot go with a third clear and obvious reason why Microsoft will emerge victorious in 2011. This does not mean that I do not think that the company will be dominate… simply, if they do, will probably be due to one of the two reasons above. Or the desirability of continuing of Xbox Live. Or constant appeal of achievements. Or the fact that this year is an amazing year for multiple platforms of titles in general, that should help the 360 and PS3 industry as a whole.
Even so, Microsoft must have something planned another if you want to remain competitive. Sony PS3 sales are rapidly reaching the 360, and the announcement of the NGP (or PSP2) is incredibly excited players. Nintendo has a trick as cool or colder Kinect 3DS, with analysts predicting 2 Wii will emerge in 2011.

Does Microsoft jumps in the handheld arena as well? Will be revealed next Xbox console? The current Xbox you will get a drop in price? This year leadership Board upgrades include something as important as Netflix or Hulu still not we have associated with a console before? Suddenly is Xbox Live Gold free? Is someone working on a set of secret Kinect which will prove irresistible to the hardcore audience? 343 Industries working in a game of secret Halo will prove irresistible to an audience that already purchased 30 million tickets in the franchise?
Undoubtedly, the answer to most of these questions is "no", but if one is "Yes", that could change the way this whole debate.
